Technological solutions applied to the field environmental activities.
Petroltecnica was moved to plan, create and use more and more advanced technologies by the important need to offer quick analytical solutions to specify waste in the sites and to dig and drill by using non-destructive techniques.
For this reason, mobile laboratories (one of them, SINAIL certified together with a primary analysis laboratory) were thought and planned so as to assure a service of analysis directly on the polluted matrix carried out by highly-specialized personnel in extremely short times.
When subservices are suspected, in order to minimize the risk during digging and drilling, Petroltecnica exploits a new Vacuum Drilling technique: it uses a means equipped with a powerful aspirator which can drill and dig by using a non-invasive method for possible infrastructures present in the subsurface and in extremely short times.
MOBILE LABORATORIES
Petroltecnica has created a force of mobile analysis laboratories to get the results on polluted matrices in every site on the territory in the shortest times. Thanks to its high quality instruments (assembled and installed on special means), a specialized staff assures the analysis of the samples of the survey matrices such as water, soil and waste rapidly and directly on the worksites, by applying the standards and methods provided by the regulations.
According to the results obtained, the certificate of analysis according to the provisions of the Legislative Decree 152 dated April 3rd, 2006 is issued.
The mobile laboratories have been designed with a series of instruments, such as mass spectrographers, spectrophotometers and various lab devices. Once equipped in this way, they can prepare samples and state chemical (organic and inorganic) parameters contributing to the pollution of liquid and solid matrices. Especially hydrocarbons with a number of carbon atoms lower and higher than 12, benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes, styrene, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and tetraethyl lead and also COD, chlorides, nitrogen, phenols, sulphates, metals, TOC. All equipment undergo a systematic and regular check and calibration according to the procedures of the Laboratory Quality Manual.
VACUUM DRILLING
Petroltecnica group provides equipment for Vacuum Drilling services offering a specific type of digging or drilling with non-destructive methods.
The vacuum driller sucks solid aggregates, soils and sands and deposits them inside a roomy container installed on board. This solution is often the most suitable one in case of particularly invasive diggings, especially in case of sub-service risk.
Vacuum Drilling is excellent in these cases and in many other situations, for example: when digging times and volumes must be reduced, in case of small dimensions of the street or of possible circulation of vehicles and persons in the surrounding area, when it is important to reduce the sound impact or to keep safety and cleaning conditions of the worksite at their best. Last but not least, the Vacuum Drilling is ideal to get a remarkable cost cut.
