Tanks calibration
Tanks calibration is aimed at obtaining an exact conversion table of the tank.
The table allows to determine and certify the volume of product contained into the tank by measuring the level of the liquid. Petroltecnica has developed a certified system to determine the precise correspondence between product level and volume contained in the tank.
The system is mainly composed by:
- A 15 m3 tank situated on the truck carrying calibration equipment.
- Anti-explosion pump linked to a meter, calibrated and sealed by Ufficio Metrico (official measures authority) and equipped with pulser )
- Electrical probe, periodically checked.
- PC with dedicated software.
