Petroltecnica is leader in this sector and is one of the few service companies that study, design and construct machines and special equipment necessary for its works.  In other cases Petroltecnica buys commercial machines with the aim to convert them for specific type of works.  For example today Petroltecnica owns 7 mobile Bruco units totally self sufficient.

In the middle of nineties Petroltecnica developed a special device able to clean underground tanks, called Bruco: a kind of robot, remote controlled, able to replace the human work in dangerous situations.
