“La cura del mondo”, the docufilm on Petroltecnica’s 40 years
Petroltecnica – Terra Therapy celebrated 40 years of activity last June. To mark this milestone, the company produced a documentary film, “The Care of the World, 40 Years of Terra Therapy”, which SapereambienteTv is currently streaming exclusively online and which we are also presenting on this page.
Synopsis
The 24-minute docufilm retraces the company’s history through a skillful collage of archival footage, interviews, and videos, set against the backdrop of Italian history from the late 1970s to the present day, highlighting the major environmental changes and progress achieved over these four decades.
Direction and contributors
The film was directed by Stefano Bisulli, with consultancy from Professor Marco Bertozzi, a nationally renowned documentary filmmaker and university lecturer. In addition to the company’s leadership, interviews were conducted with long-standing employees—pioneers of the company’s activities—as well as younger team members who hold strategic roles for the company’s future. The first-person voice-over by Petroltecnica gives the narrative a unique freshness and originality within the landscape of traditional corporate documentaries.
The story of a corporate community
The world premiere of the film took place on June 7, 2025, during a two-day event held at the evocative Rockisland venue in Rimini, Molo di Levante, bringing together experts from across Italy to reflect on issues of safety, health, and the environment.
And to retrace, together with the entire company community, the reasons that make the company a significant player among Italian enterprises in the field of sustainability.
