Onshore and offshore monitoring plan
Execution of the Environmental Monitoring Plan (EMP) within the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) framework for expansion works inside the refinery. The EMP included onshore environmental investigations through air quality monitoring using fixed and mobile stations, as well as noise and vibration monitoring. Offshore monitoring activities were also carried out, including water column analysis, marine sediment assessment, bioaccumulation studies in mussels (Mussel Watch protocol), and a bathymetric survey.
